Bosst 155 or 165??

I have a 155 boost 3" luv the thing. Now the 3" does trench more than the 2.75 but on the boost it's worth it to me for the Xtra hook up of the 3". The 2.75 works better on a N/A then on a boost it lays over to easy. I ride dubois mostly and after a couple hundred miles the 3" breaks in a little and don't trench near as much. I have a 165 9r khaos 2.75 and a 155 pro 2.75 if your going 165 I would definitely go khaos. My .02

Depends on the snow/ locality. The 3” works great here in a lot of conditions and packs the skis a little higher, which can be good if that’s what you’re looking for. Durability a little better as well.
I agree the 3” is a durable track and makes the Kahos more of a Kahos. I found this out on my 21 Kahos 163” I put the new 2.75 0n it and she’s not near the wheel monster she was.

Havent rode a 16x boost but it just seems like thats going to get you places you shouldnt be. I enjoy a challenge once in awhile on the 155 anyways. I ride a 2.75 155 khoas and my buddy has a 3 155 khoas. Id get the 3" every time here in Utah. Noticeably more traction, less trenching and more durable.

I bought a 155 boost khaos slash. Have pretty much always owned 165 sleds. Bought a Lynx 3” 165 with ice age rails for the boost back in October. I’m so happy with the 155 series 8 on the boost, the Lynx track and rails just sit in the garage.

Would you be willing to sell that lynx track?!

Finally got around to putting on the Lynx 3”. The Lynx 3” combined with the 23’ program tune the 22’ boost into a completely different animal. The 2.75 is a good track, like others have said, but probably better suited for the NA matryx. My 23’ G5 turbo used to embarrass my 22’ boost with the 2.75, not anymore

How is the trenching with it on the boost. My lynx is fun but seriously unforgiving in the trees. I've literally been stopped on flat ground, in rotten sugar snow, and almost went stuck. Just goes to china. I jumped to one side, and stuck a foot out, and it flipped around on its side without going even 5 feet forward. The high engagement probably makes it worse. That is like old school to get rid of turbo lag. Is the gen 5 154 track better? Our sugar snow the 2.75 is awesome but it doesn't have the traction of lynx track. It just jumps up and goes. The lynx just digs down. It still moves forward but with skis straight in the air. Re is also really heavy which doesn't help. Was debating about getting a ds or freeride 154 for next year just because i like that motor and i can ride my wife's 9r anytime.
