Boss Seat installation

Im looking in to getting a boss seat, im just nervous about the install. I read their instructions but still have questions about the drilling for the snap rivets, is that into the tunnel or gas tank, i dont think it would be in the gas tank but just wanted to check. so pictures of a install would be nice. any advice would be apprciated.

Your not drilling into the sled at all. BOSS sends 2 little metal angle pieces that bolt on top of the rear fuel tank mounts, using the OE bolts. What you drill is the metal pieces so you can rivet the snaps on. Here's a pic of the left side metal piece install on my sled with the snap.
