BOSS Seat - Biggest piece of junk I've ever bought

Sent my order in there is a waiting time but they were up front with me about it so no big deal so time will tell if they come in by the time frame I was told.

Interesting was told they were in stock and ready to ship....left hand meet right hand.....WTF?!

Nope. We do the sewing and foam injection in house. We also install the covers and ship them directly from Utah.

I was told by several Boss dealers that the covers are being made in China as well. If this isn't the case, why so many problems all of a sudden when you had such a good product to begin with?

Hope you guys get back on track. I loved your old seats until new and "Improved" Design... You should go back to thinking quality over quantity!

Well...I finally got my Boss seat ready for this season and it only cost me $65 on top of what i paid for the original seat...BS!! I had to argue with them for quite a while to get them to send me a seat cover for free, but I still had to pay $20 Shipping for it. I got the seat cover and the zippers do look a lot better, but the material on the cover looks exactly the same so im sure it will fray, rip, and fade just like the last one. Then thanks to the guy at Ultimate Upholstery (i think its called) in Aberdeen, SD I got it put on and ready to go for the season. I would highly recommend anyone in the area that needs a seat cover put on to go there. He's pretty quick and does a great job. He has also dealt with a lot of POS Boss Seats over the past few years.

Good job Boss. Way to make a POS product and make the consumer pay to fix it! Thats how you keep your customers happy :)!

Just got off the phone with Jeremy. Great guy to talk to and very strait forward. I was frustrated with the problems that I have had. But he offered me an solution to fix it. All is good once again!

This is my third Boss seat. And am still a happy customer.

Matt

I would encourage anyone that has a problem with their zippers last year to give me a call. We're working with our customers to resolve any problems they have and most have been happy with the solutions we have been able to provide.

I have to say that we have had good luck with our BOSS seats, we have 3. We have had wear on the bottom of the seats where they meet the tunnel in the front, where our legs hold the seat. I did have seams come apart on mine, sent it back to BOSS and they fixed it, looks like new again! Their customer service was great, really easy people to communicate with!

i tried buying a boss seat back in 07 but it was almost impossible to get one unless i wanted to wait 6 months to a year. bought a mountain mod seat and sure glad i did. at the time it was cheaper than boss and i still got my customer service and the seat is still holding up great.

I still don't understand the boss seat customer. I guess after you buy a $500seat to replace a perfectly good stock one, you probably need the $200 billet reverse button to go with it.

Obviously you have not tried one. My favorite mod If done in all my years of snowmobiling. Especially on sled that come stock with low seats. The ergonomic improvement is something you feel every ride.

I guess not everyone is going to like it especially if you have had issues with them. I run them on my sleds and love them so I speak from experience not just because I sell them. If I didn't like them I would not run them. Especially the Boss product because of some history with poor customer service. I sell a ton of these each year so many do love them. I had a small percentage last year that had issues. They addressed those issues for this season. I believe the china thing was addressed by Boss earlier in this thread.
