Boost it going on and dobec is coming off.

My fuel box should be here next week and looking forward to trying it with my silber kit. Ill post results when i get some seat time on it.

Where you having problems with the dobec? or just want to try something new?... "nothing ventured nothing gained"

Haha i tell ya what. Ill text you pics and you post them i dont know how to post pics.. Lol

When i first got the kit put on it ran consistent and clean and now it changes every time i shut the sled down if that makes any sense. Last time i was out the af in the bottom end was perfect in the mid 13s. Ran into some buddies and shut the sled down and when we got going the af was 17. and idling high. so back re adjusting the settings to get the a/f correct. The sled again was running good while we rode. Once again we stop for a break, fire it back up and it runs like sht with the blue light flashing. Shut it down and re start and the blue light is gone? Im not sure what the deal is with this and to be honest im not going to try to find out. I only have so many days to ride between 3 kids a wife and work. The map was not perfect that came with the box and i can only fine tune so much with out a reflash and who is to say the reflash will be what i need. I like how the boost it leaves the stock ecu alone and the tuning is endless with no lap top.

Very interested to hear the results! Now I heard NM talk in a different thread about a whole kit that would include a water to air IC and whatnot. Are you getting the IC too or just the controller for now?
Now I know some out there are claiming more power and whatnot with these standalones or the boot-it, I think the real benefits are in drivability/runability.
Out of curiousity what is the price?

Just the controller for now and this summer maybe i will look into the water to air. I never had any issues with the sled bogging from heat or hitting det because of heat. Im curious to see how it runs with the warm spring air that is yet to come though. Im not expecting more power with the box but it would be a bonus but not sure how that will happen. Proper a/f mixture was achieved with the dobec at WOT. But im expecting better driveability and more consistency from day to day. Matt, you know i never even asked how much:face-icon-small-sho But if my wife asks we will go with $200. ok lol

If you cant figure out how to post pic's than getting the Dobeck box to work is hopeless.

Ya Thats right. I have run a dobec box since 2007 on a boondocker apex, then a impulse apex and now this pro rmk so ya, i know how the box works and how a sled should run.. Others maybe satisfied with a alright working sled. I for one am not . As you would know or at least i would think you would, you can only tune the base map so much. So i rather try something new rather than wait for a updated map with hope it will be a improvement. Ohhh.. i guess i should tell ya i also type with one finger as well.

I think he was making a joke. Just take a couple of deep breaths and get some info up on how this thing runs now.

think the fueling system for the pro is around 1100$ not 100% on that though.dont think he has a price worked out yet for the complete turbo kit but i know they are the only ones doing installs dont think they will be selling the kit for do it yourself install,he wants them all working perfect the way there meant too.

Right on guys, mine should be here tomorrow and will try to get it on asap. This is going to be cool having a few of us starting this at the same time.

Got the sled tore down tonight, removed the air box to have some aluminum bungs welded in for new boost signals.

Hardest part was unhooking those injector wires and hooking in the new ones, man what a pain in the arse trying to do it without pulling the throttle bodies.

Also got the tmap interceptor all soldered and wired in. Going to get my air box done tomorrow, and slowly put it back together, still have to do the fuel regulator as well.

Boost It

You will not regret the Boost It. set up. I have one installed on my '12 pro with an HM Turbo Kit. The throttle response is just like a stock machine, no lag. They have their kits dialed in. I have a boondocker control box on my other sled, and it is in right now getting a Boost It Set up installed. Neil and the boys will give you some baseline numbers. Minimum and simple tuning from there, add fuel and oil then ride. Hang on, You will be amazed by how these things go.

Took the sled out for a test run today. I have to say the bottom end is insane now. I didn't know it could be so snappy with the turbo.

Sled pulled really hard on 10psi, super simple to adjust. Best money I've spent in awhile.

If you considered one you should get one on order to bring your sled to life.
