boost gauge

I hope this doesn't sound like too silly of a question:
I want to replace my boost gauge on my Silber kit. I want something that is a little easier to read and doesn't get moisture in it. Do I need to get a boost gauge that shows vacuum as well? I know 2 strokes produce very little vaccum but there is some, if I just buy say a 0-15psi range boost gauge, will the vacuum that the gauge see's hurt the gauge at all? I'm looking for opinions with 1st hand experience.

thanks in advance

Yeah, 2 1/16th I mounted mine in the plastic above my left knee. Kind of mirror to the pull start handle, put it in sideways so 10 psi the needle is flat, you can read it at a glance.
