Boost and quick drive

Had alot of issues 9 belts in 1000 miles all boosted. Tightened track up to a lil tighter then spec. Knock on wood have made it 225 miles havent lost a belt. All hard back country mountain riding

have a neighbor that has about 900 miles on his boosted 2013 first belt but he made a tensionor for it at 300 miles it started to jump a little and all the these miles were pulling a 174 by 3 inch track

belt

I know many people that have had zero issues with there 13 sleds and some with quickdrive belt issues, there is a better quick drive belt coming from polaris!!

sweet new color options also

Hello guys. We have a lot of Poo turbo sleds and a lot of broken qd belts also.
We are thinking for switch to chaincase but anyone here didn't do it.
What do you think about CMXDS setup? Will it working or not?
Thanks

A guy we ride with has a new crazy. The belt drive is standard equipment
I have never seen him touch a button or look under the hood.

I have 550 miles at 10-12 pounds of boost with no issues. I did switch to the 2012 shaft after a driveshaft failure at 31 miles.

quick drive belt

i have 687 miles on my stock belt with 8lbs boost. 4 mile brake in and pure terror after that. had driveshaft recal on before i rode it. not a moments trouble. also not sure if it helps or not but i have a 3'' and 7 tooth drivers....

900 miles on my original at 10 pounds of boost. I think Im one of the lucky ones.

With that said I have contacted TKI and will be stocking the aftermarket belt drives for the folks having problems.

300 miles now and it still looks good... Running 6-10 PSI at sea level on a 13 belt... The 14's are suppose to be stronger...

Has anyone broke a 14 belt?

buddy put a 14 belt on his 13 boosted pro. his jackshaft bearing went out and the 14 belt literally snapped in half, no cogs gone. so i would definitely say that the cogs are going to strip less.

personally im at 1500 miles on my 13. 500 miles with boost and my original belt still looks new. I have hit so much stuff under the snow at wot (logs, rocks, etc) and no issues. My track is probably missing 10-15 lugs. Im still on original driveshaft too. Its the weirdest thing how some have no issues and some have nothing but issues.

My 13 163 I have 300 miles boosted. I blew one belt but I think it was because I was cat walking and the track ratcheted. I have my track a little tighter and it has been good

Yeah I have beat up on my 14 belt with boost. Ratcheted the track a few times with hard throttle on landings, hit a lot of stuff under the snow at WOT. Done a lot of long hard pulls back to back, enough that I have destroyed 2 clutch belts in 350 miles. Knock on wood my drive belt looks great through.

So far so good on the boosted 14s in our group, we have run the crap out of them and no drive belt issues, ate a couple clutch belts though at high boost.
