Boost and quick drive

Any body got any milage out of there quick drive belt? Ihave been through 3 including original in 400 mi . thinking of putting chain case on . one good thing is still on stock drive shaft , just got clamp put on :yo:

I only got 115 miles out of my first belt. If it continues this way I'll definitely be going back to the chain case.

over 300 miles

I got over 300 on mine first trip all boosted. I returned the spare quickdrive belt i bought.

Friends turbo pro, had 0 miles non turboed, blew drive belt after 20 miles ground the cogs off but made it back after a push start. New belt has 150 miles on it without issues. Also has not broken drive shaft but clamp going on today

my 1st belt made it 8 miles, breaking it in. Put the other on and it made it the rest of trip with boost...???????????

well if there only goin 300 miles or less id go back to chaincase in a heartbeat...that sucks

ya, made it from the parking lot to lake marie, babying it cause it kept detanating, so prob 8 miles I'm guessing. Took all the cogs off and dont forget. that means no brakes... that can get ya in trouble I KNOW

same thing here made it maybe five miles, put a new one on took it a little easier for about twenty miles rode it hard for another 100 still working good

I've got 385 miles on and it looks like new. I did break it in. I'm boosted also. My stocker has 325 on it and still looks new. This one started to break the shaft but I caught it from destroying it's self. Both belts are just fine.

Mine has 200 or so to date with a blown driveshaft at about 40 miles. Still looks good. We have another 13 with 200 as well and it also looks good. Both sleds are at 10-12 pounds. We didnt break them as per the manual. The snow was too deep :)

My buddy got 300 ish miles on the first belt at 7lbs boost. Second one is at 100 miles so far, no trouble with the drive shaft yet.

picked sled up from dealer on wed (with 2nd quick drive belt) put 40 trail miles on thurs and another 20 on fri riding with kids . Broke in exactly like dealer requested ,no hard pulls and vary throttle . Gave it hell today belt still looks good has 140 miles on it . I hoping failure was just due to impropper breakin:face-icon-small-win

Ttt

Any guys out there with some decent mileage on original qd belt under boost?
How are they holding up...

Three weeks ago I was riding with a turbo pro
First big hill we got to he blew his belt. It was a nasty tow out. No belt =
No brakes
Broke the upper a arm, smashed front bumper, pipe caved in belly pan cracked and broken rear bumper on the tow sled.
I don't have a turbo and blew 3 belts.
I have the ck3 belt drive on order.

Had to swap to a chain case after blowing 3 belts. I think the heat is what is killing these belts! If Polaris fixes this I will swap it back because I love how zippy the sled is with the QD.
For now the chain case is working great!

Two belts. Silber kit at 10#. First one made 200 miles stock. Have gone through two boosted. Dealer warrantied them though. I have to do something better it gets anoying

I have just over 1200 miles on my QD. All boosted miles on a BD race gas kit. Running 12 pds boost. These are hard backcountry miles. The belt was broke in on an 80 mile trail ride before we had good snow. The belt still looks good. I check it after every ride but I never leave the trailer without a spare. I have seven riding buddies with 500 to 700 miles on their sleds all with the same turbo set up as mine. Three of them have had belts break and none of them had any break in before they hit the backcountry. They all broke within the first 40 miles. Two of them have not had another issue since their original replacement but one of them has broken 3 or 4. This same rider has broken at least 2 on his wifes stock sled. Funny thing is he is the least aggressive rider of the bunch. Makes no sense to me.
