Boost 165 - Clutched and cut skidoo track riding Revy!

Out testing on the weekend with the cut skidoo track. What difference, ground speed is amazing compared to the 2.75. I actually have traction in deep powder.

Awesome video Red! Is that with the last clutching setup you mentioned in the other thread? What top rpm were you pulling? Engagement RPM? Any belt temp issues? Any things you are going to tweak?

Yes. This is my most current set up. Engagement is down to 3900 and smooth. Belt and clutch temps are down with this set up. The more aggressive clutching and gear down ( 2.38 vs 2.27) are very consistent. Peak rpm is 8350-8400. Track speed is the same with the skidoo track but my ground speed has increased substantially. My next trip i will be testing the team tied secondary.

how did you cut it down to 15"? I have a doo 165 I will be cutting down to try on my boost, just wondering how people did it.

Nice. I’ve been intrigued with this track since getting our asses handed to us by Doo’s on one super deep day in cascade snow last year.
I’m going to try one next year. I am curious if it specifically does better and holds more consistent sled attitude in dryer, interior snow than the 2.75.
