Boondocker turbo control box for 800 pro 2012

Hi everyone haven't posted here for quite a while. or ridden my sled for 3 years due to time restrictions with job but have recently have more time now for hobbies i used to enjoy.
It is a 2012 800 pro with the 2013 adjustable boost control box with EBC control from boondocker.
I have had my sled apart now for about 2 years and just getting things back together now and have been doing some clean up under the hood with loose hanging wires harness and such and have relocated my boondocker fuel control box for my turbo control. the box is much closer to the after cooler now and was wondering if i can shorten up the little plastic boost signaling line. i can removed almost 6 to 8 inches of excess line but don't know if it will screw up any calibration the box uses. Any ideas on this?
Second thing is i have now gone from a under hood air intake air kit to routing the air intake into the stock hood air intake system. Boondocker in its instruction during install had you remove the tmap sensor from the air intake box to the top frame of the chassis.. was just wondering if you could move this back into the stock box so its reading the actual air temp barometric temp that going into the engine. anyways that the question i have for now thanks in advance to any replies.

i will let you know, i shortened mine up. Not sure if i got it right, might have dicked her bud! (3D 12 box EBC wire) For what its worth i don't know about the tmap sensor either. Should play with it, but i suspect its being used to measure BAR. Should post pics of your set up! The first pic shows where i mounted the tmap sensor in the stock cold air intake lefts ide just by above ECU.
Second pic shows my proto type cold air intake that mounts up to the rightside bottom of the stock intake.

Just little update on how things went here. I tried the tmap sensor routed back into the cold air intake and carefully just rode around at home here and it just runs too lean in the low pre boost rpm ranges. Had very high a/f numbers upwards of 21 to 23. Returned back to where boondocker recommends it and back to running normal numbers now so things have to be calibrated for the tmap sensor tied to the frame like they call for in the instructions. The remodeled cold air routing into the stock coldair box on the hood worked extremely well but is a lot nosier and did gain a little higher a/f number ratio from about a 12.3 to 12.5 so not really much of a concern. The cold air conversion cost me around 20 dollars to do. Well worth it.
