Body lift on a truck?

By the photo griff, it still looks to me as if your frame (ie: between the wheels) would get hung up on large rocks or in areas in which high clearance is needed.

I just bought a 4" lift for my old ford for 500 bucks, so in this case shelling out a bit more for a lift that doesnt make my truck look gay, was worth it.

I haven't bought the tires for the truck yet (going with 33" boggers most likely). I just put old tires and rims I had lying around from my previous truck. Plus there are no big rocks where I am from.

I currently have the 2" block on the back and the new keys up fornt. I want to go taller. But was looking for options other then a full suspention kit. Do not think the wife will go for that kind of money. I have also thought about checking a few wrecking yards. Maybe I can find a truck with a lift I can remove and install. We will see.

Thanks for the info. I thing I will let the body lift idea go.

Thanks for all the bad rep! If you crank your torsion bars it puts more stress on ball joints, tie rod ends and cvs.. if you go high enough, you should probably think about getting longer shocks.

And rides like ****, and wears out axle seals faster, etc ...
