Ran into the park ranger up at Lk Ann yesterday checking tabs and he said Blewett got 18 inches of new snow in the last few days? Can anyone confirm this?

I'll answer my own question. 12-18 inchs of powder at Blewett today. The main area's were tracked out but there was ton's of untouched powder in the tree's. One of best rides I've had up there in years. Good coverage and the tree's are caked white. Looks like for once the storms are hitting there. Snowing hard when I left at 3p today.

Isn't there some sort of joke about women cannot correctly tell lengths because men are telling them 6 inches is really 9????
we were there yesterday - Lion Rock - i didn't think there was much over 6-8 inches of new;);)its a joke - don't get mad:eek:

Ah yeah, So I was riding in -99 inches of snow today? I'd say that site needs a tune up. There's way more snow up there than the 29-30 inches their showing every day for the last 2 weeks.

Not at Blewett Pass there isn't. Blewett pass itself is in bit of a rain shadow from the Teanaway. Up on top of Reecer there is always quite a bit more. Some of the other snotel stations in the area are a bit more representative.

I took my family to Blewett on Saturday, I would say there was 10" to 12" of fresh at Naneum Meadows & the Table Mtn area, lots of untracked if you looked for it.
Defiantly one of the better rides of the year for me.

The parking lot was a mess, lots of wasted space. When we got back from our ride one group was trying to fix their slashed trailer tires, I guess some one wasn't happy about being blocked in.

Lake Cle Elum how is the terrain at Red Top Mtn, do you get there from the Teanaway or further north off 97?

Terrain is a nice trail thru the trees with some big, open play area....Not much hill climbing, more boondocking....Best way in is to leave the Mineral Springs Rest, go west like going to the Teanaway and take a left 3 miles up (it's marked).....Then another left to follow some tracks heading south before you hit the top.......Don't go in the the way we did: Came from Cle Elum, West Fork, some bare pavement down by the old Teanaway store, up someone's driveway, behind his neighbors barn and then cross country heading north.....Long story, but you'd have to know the ride leader.....

So now your disputing my snow report? Really?

Oh, relax. Your first post asked about the conditions. Your second post said there was way more than the 30 inches claimed at the 'Blewett Pass' snotel. Just trying to point out that the snotel at Blewett Pass has little to do with the conditions at Lions Rock, Naneum, Reecer, etc. :rose::rose::rose:
