It would be interesting to know if a skid plate really would have made a difference. Could you put a skid plate on it and go hit the rock again and let us know how it fairs? J/K :face-icon-small-win That's a bad deal. No worse feeling than banging up a new sled. Hope you get it back together soon.

I'm thinking that, plus the skid plate plastic to slide on.

Basically get enough material on there that you can't NOT hit it. Then when you do, you can think to yourself how smart you were for protecting it.

What about getting with some of these fab company's TKI, BMF just another option if J don't wanna build em for resale

Fyi both sides of the skid plate are the same with the rib going down it.
