The shocks I got from you are 16.5 length and I think the Apex are supposed to have 15.5 for a length. What are guys runnin for pressure in them for an apex.Mabye I could pressure mine down cause it sits about 3 inches higher in the front from stock now.

Do you know what center to center should be on a '05 Polaris 900 RMK? Ten-Zing wants to sell me the pair off of his IQracer and it seems to me like they should be longer than the RMK. His are 18.5". Either way I'll be running Marvin Shaws if I go with his or new ones. Also would you know what kind of valving and pressure should be on that sled? I have it down to about 500 lbs dry and I weigh 185+ with all my gear. Thanx,

I have a 03 ZX Summit that I put them on the front and it sat very high too. I was worried that it was going to be very tough to side hill as a result of no sag in the shocks. I was told that stock set up is 350 psi. I am going to try 300 PSI and re mount them. Hopefully that should do the trick.

Second the pressure thing?? How easy is it to adjust down the pressure?
got mine a long time ago, making front end wider to fit the new Hillshooters but they are psyco-stiff?? I can compress them maybe 1/2" with all my weight.

from experience not easy... my went from high rider to low rider real quick!

they are very easy to adjust, if you use the proper equipment......If you just try to let a little out by tapping the valve, you can dump half the pressure in a split second.......Dont assume they are to stiff until you ride it especially if it a wide front apex....If they are still too stiff, only drop 25psi at a time.

I have taken on a new biz venture so im not so involved in the shocks right now....Feel free to hit me up though if you need support!!

Okay....

The equipment.. that I just saw on Marvin Shaws homepage for $250 + shipping.
Is this special equipment? I can apreciate someone wanting to hold on to the aftermarket of their product, but I'm across the Atlantic so having to ship them back and forth for adjustment or buy $250 worth of equipment is not ideal..

Is the valve special? Connection?

Thanks,

RS

I sell the equipment to those that would like to own it for there own convienence ........However it is nothing special....It is the exact same filling equipment that any reputable motorcycle, snowmobile,ATV service shop will have on hand for filling most conventional shocks......

Hope that helps.....Please let me know if you need help.

I should be good with that info Tony. Means I can get them adjusted this side of the big pond:). Makes me happy about the purchase again.

Thanks!
