Billet throttle blocks

School me on billet throttle blocks, what you like, don't like, and why. Broke mine on my 2015 RMK LE today. Was thinking IQR block but didn't want to mess with tps if I don't have to. Seen a lot of guys run Fastrax blocks but I can't access their website right now, it must be down? Thanks.

I was actually checking out theirs at the Haydays tent and the guy was trying to convince me to buy one, told me I'd be sorry if I didn't buy one once I break mine and have it ruin my trip, in the back of my head I knew he was right but didn't want to spend the money at the time. At least I'm just on a weekend trip in the UP of Michigan. I see from googling lots of guys run Fastrax blocks but I can't find much info on them, doesn't look like they have a site?

I don't think they offer the billet throttle blocks anymore.

I messaged Fastrax and he responded right away saying they don't make them anymore. A guy I ride with has an IQR block and epoxied the TPS sensor on, looks like by the time I buy the parts for the IQR block I'm sitting at the same price as an RSI. Is there a mount for TPS on the RSI?

Utilizes the stock throttle lever pivot pin safety switch.

It is actually the TSS in the throttle block the TPS is on the throttle bodies or racked carbs.

Anyway, RSI has one the stock TSS fits into. Someone else will need to chime in with Part #.

I run the IQR block and bypass the TSS with a resistor. Although most on here caution against bypassing it. There is a complete IQR block on E-bay right now for ~$120 IIRC.

I have broke four of the factory plastic crap throttle blocks. I put a new RSI on every new pro I buy. They do have the provision for the TSS and I buy the model with the built in kill switch.

I got tired of the ****ty stock assembly popping loose and went with the RSI block this year and it is working well.

I bought the RSI heated throttle block with a kill switch. Plug and play. Real easy to do and works great.

that heated one is worth it if your going to buy the rsi, not everyone will need it but we had a crazy over deep day and that slot the throttle pin moves in did get snow and ice in it.

Ran the CR racing billet block bypassed TSS and used a tether. Blocked worked great never had a problem with snow build up again.
