Bill Maher - Religulous

OK now this is off the trailer(thanks for the link), but at one point Bill asks why God doesn't just cap the devil......now I'm no biblical scholar, but I think if Bill took the time to sit down and read, instead of doing what ever it is that he does, he would see why God doesn't just cap the devil.

It looks like maybe he goes after many world religions, is that correct?

Nope as all ready stated I haven't seen it and most likely won't....if it's in the same style and taste of his show and his comedy. It' slike Micheal Moore, can't stand him and won't watch his stuff either.

Not anything like a POS Michael Moore film ... I won't even waste my time watching that fat lump of *&#@. I have seen bits and pieces of his films and wanted to choke the life out of him in minutes. He's on my "list"!

Religulous is equal opportunity ... it does not single out any one religion and questions many organized religions and their beliefs. Once again, I am not a Maher fan but it was an interesting watch, nonetheless. Not too many people have the sand to make a film with this content, because of the repercussions, so I at least give Maher credit for openly stating his opinion (think Salman Rushdie and what it got him). I didn't hear any more swearing in the film than I hear on a regular ride in the mountains with my crew, but I'm "thick-skinned" in that department.

It pisses me off that he calls himself a "Libertarian" and his artard fan base doesn't seem to understand he's nothing more than a garden variety Hollywood dip5hit liberal. And well said above, he's not funny or intelligent.

Watch him? Not a chance. I canceled my $5 a month HBO subscription in large part because of him.

Agreed. Mare was the skinny unpopular kid, and Moore was the fat kid everyone trashed on at recess.

I will not waste my time or finacially benefit either one of them by watching anything either one puts out.

I in no way am reinforcing the crazy actions that some of the religous folk in our country do, but i am willing to stand up and respect their 1st amendment rights of Freedom of Speach. Our country was founded on escaping Tyranny of a King and religous freedom.

My take on this is not that these idiots are attacking religon, but they are attacking the moral fiber of religon. How many of you that are not religous, but live your lives by good moral values? That is what they are attacking. They are softening up the population so that they can make things like the acceptance of illegals, and same sex marriage a norm in our country.

Senator Joseph McCarthy was a "witch-hunter", who eventually drank himself to death(acute hepatitis to be exact) after being exiled out of office for his eccentric, erratic behavior during his anti-communist crusade. I'll be the first to agree that Hollyweird is full of a bunch of indulgent, self absorbed, entitled, "holier than thou" left wing idiots but pick a better champion than McCarthy ... he was as loonie as they are!

On a lighter note ... a decommissioned carrier loaded with dirtbags is sounding like a viable plan. Wades plan gets my vote ... why waste a good vessel and let it rot if you can find a great purpose for it A watery grave in the abyss would be a perfect place for so many on my "list"!
