bikeman exhaust valves

I have them on my M1200 and they work great. No more cables and you can adjust them to the opening presure you want. The bottom end on my motor is much more responsive with the Supreme tool and machine valves. They build the valves for Bikeman.

I have them on my M1000 and they work great, the only problem I had was when I first got them inside the bellows I developed a tiny burn hole from the exhaust gassses that pressure up the valve, all I did there was put a washer on the inside so that the gasses would hit the washer not the plastic bellows.I heard Supreme tool went with aluminum now, not sure though.

so, in order to install these non cable power valves, do you have to disconnect the servo motor or what is the process? isn't the sled going to throw a code for the servo motor being bad?

Supreme Valves

Here is my expereince
I put them on my 07 M8 and after 3 sets of burnt bellows including the new aluminum upgraded model I gave up. I didn't get one good ride with them without a failure , so after that I got most of my money back went back to stock.
They do send a plug in module to fool the ECU into thinking the valves are working.
The few miles that they actually worked I thought they ran pretty good, but they were suppose to be a bolt on forget thing, not in my case, they guy I bought them from of course said He'd never had that problem but after 3 tries, I decided to forget it for good.

I wouldn't mind trying these but Supreme Tool is way to proud of everything they make. I know you get what you pay for but I do believe their prices are extremely inflated.

I've had good luck with the STM set on my '05 king cat. I had been fighting the six blink (servo motor code) nightmare for two seasons before installing them. Not one isssue since. My only regret was that I didn't do them before my local dealer handed me a $600++ bill and shrugged his shoulders.

i had that problem with the M8 that i rented 2 years ago. the motor would cut out and it would flash the servo motor code. we were in the horns when it happened. got to cooke and they put a new servo motor in it. it ran that first day flawless. the next day it was doing it again. turns out that the free length on the power valve cables was out of spec. when i got it back, wayne set the free length on the cables and it was fine.

We tried everything. Cables, motor, stator, V-reg and spotless valves. I even replaced the harness. Same crap, ruined many a ride. The nightmare ended the day the STM valves went on. Spendy? No doubt but they doo (haha, get it? Doo?) work. :D

John, I have seen a few sleds with this problem and they had a pinched wire under the gas tank that goes to the servo motor. It would blink when grounded and could also damage the servo motor.

If you get the STM valves, get the new version that has a stronger bellows holder and does not blow out like the old ones.
