Last year was my first year riding in the Mtns. Grew up on sleds in Minn. But never really rode out here in Colorado.. My next door neighbor is Ryan and Rodney Frank from Timberline Motorsports in Buena Vista Co. (Great family Artic Cat business in Buena Vista, Co Check them out).
http://www.timberlinemotorsports.net/ Anyway, through these guys we had demos for AC a couple of times in Colorado. The demos were with Brett Rasmussen.
We told Brett that we were going to Jackson Hole for the hill climbs. On the Thursday before Brett said that he was going on a ride with some friends and invited us along.
We got to the parking lot south of Alpine WY and Brett, the guys from TOTS (The Out Door Toy Store)
http://www.outdoortoystore.net in Washington were there, and in Bretts truck in the pasanger seat with was this guy, Chris Burandt.
So I am 50 with an AARP card, same as Brett. LOL Chris Who? Well Ryan was like we are going to get whipped today. OK, lets go were my words.
At the end of the day I learned more in that day with Brett and Chris on Mtn riding than in a whole season with my friends in Buena Vista. ( No offense buddys.)
If you get a chance to ride with these guys or with "Chris, how the heck did he do that Burant", DO IT, Not DOO it, but get a set up Cat and you will go places that you never thought you could go!
