big horns

me and my buddy are going on a trip and were thinking about going to the big horns. this is our first trip so we dont know much about the landscape out there.(from eastern SD) i read that the northern part has usually more snow than the south and has bigger hills to climb? im just wondering if there are many trees around there and would you consider going there or finding some place else to go?

Going up tomorrow.. I will post a snow report tomorrow night.. Doesn't sound like they got anything huge. But they did get a few inches.
