I was up a few days ago. Not much snow at all. At least the forcast for the next few days looks good. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, Corine here from Ranger Creek.
I haven't been here for a while, but now that the snow is flying again, I'm back! I heard Burgess Junction didn't get a whole lot yet, but I woke up this morning on more than a foot of fresh powder. Now, hopefully this will turn into a nice base, so get your snowgear out and be ready!
Anyway, our SnowCam is back up, so check it all out at www.rangercreek.com. We'll keep you posted here, and we hope to see you all again this winter! We are ready with meals, drinks, gas and lots of good times in the lodge!

I'd like to say we did, but nope.... it was just spitting a little bit, no accumulation (unless you were standing right there where it came sliding off the roof today!) I'll post a new pic in the morning. It just started to snow and I was getting all excited, but no.... nothing much. Let's hope we get something overnight! I know some people will be up here tomorrow to see what we've got so far!!!!

No new snow this morning though, and a beautiful sun shiny day.... Hopefully this will make this snow turn into a nice base!

you were giving away free beer to the first rider???? you didn't tell me that on the phone friday when I talked to you... drove by there saturday but not enough snow to ride so we ended up over by bald mtn..
I actually got the idea because you called! Thought about it when I posted the new picture on the SnowCam and that's where it said that the first rider of the season gets a free beer. I figured if you were thinking of checking it out, others might as well and I was hoping I could get all you guys to come here!!!! Anyway, the offer still stands. We had a lodge full of people today, but not of them rode in, they all drove!
I heard we're supposed to get snow Tuesday and throughout the week. We'll keep you all posted!

Now another front of bad news... They are going to be working on a section of Highway 14 between Dayton and Cutler Hill, expect road delays...

Had some flurries yesterday but nothing to write home about. Today - so far - is sunny. A perfect day to come up to the lodge and shop for your Klim gear with a beer in your hand, toasting to our veterans!!
