Big Horns Avalanche - Buried be safe!

There are a few places in the Horns to steer clear of. That is one of them. We saw more sluffs and slides this year than usual. Sure is a wake up call to have gear anywhere out west. Glad to see he made it out of that ok.

Thanks for the Video. Was this hill in the Northern or Southern Horns? If in the Northern Horns can you tell me where this is?

Thanks again.

if that is the hill that i think it is those guys are crazy for climbing that without beacons shovles or probes. That hill slides all the time, the bottom of it is littered with trees that have been pushed down the hill from avalanches. Plus what the hell is that second guy thinking of goining up with a guy stuck in the middle of the hill. Just because its the bighorns doesnt mean you can climb anything with no worrys. Glad everything turned out OK. Good video I hope more people watch it and learn from your many mistakes so they dont have to make their own.

Just off of the trail on the northern loop of H trail where it turns more south toward Dayton Gulch. It's easy to see from the trail and there is some other fun terrain in that area but that thing slides all of the time.

I would have like to see a start to finish video of the slide. It is so chopped up and edited in every view of this video. Would be nice to see just the raw footage.
