This is my first trip out west to the big horns, are you able to rent snowmobile equipment (avy beacons, gps, ect...) near burgess junction? Headed out next weekend and will not have a chance to get some of the gear before we leave.

No sir, no place to rent any sort of avy or gadgets near sheridan. Depending on where you are coming from maybe you could get some in another place on your way out.
