Big Bore Kits

That sled is done. Nobody is going to spend the time to develop one on a defunct sled. You might be able to find a used BB kit in the swap meet. Good luck.

The crankshop builds a 1240 for it. And bikeman builds a 1100 and a 1250 for it. They use crankshop cylinders to build their 1250.

from the few i have heard of on dootalk, they are a waste of time and money, get some high comp domes, good porting and CS twins. thats about all the decent power you will get out of it without going nuts.

with a solid running stock bore can still make a tad over 200 HP tuned right with above accesories, so just get it to run right and dont try and mess it up.

Well I'm not sure what the hp# are but can tell you that mine with a 1100 kit on it pull's a lot more weight than just pipes. And I'm not thinking it was the heads that made it pull 10 more grams of pin weight. Only have 100 miles on it so far so can't say how long it will last. But it's a big bore and if I get 1,500 miles on it between rebuild's then great.

I have a bikeman kit. Heard bad thing about their kit's on the net but a friend of mine was running one of their big bore cat kit's and it ran good. So decide to try it when I lost a ring.
