Big Block 600 vs Small Block 600

The old big block 600 performed very well with an SLP pipe and can in my RMK. I was wondering how the new CFI 600 performs in comparison. HP is slightly higher on the new one but how about throttle responsiveness and low end grunt? Would it be equivalent to the old big block 700 when it first came out?

I have an 06 600ho carbed that has a very strong low end and midrange. I ride with an 04 700 big block. Both sleds are 144's and are geared the same. The 600 has a stronger feel but when we compare them in a side by side slow moving punch they stick together for a while until the 700 starts to pull away. Both sleds are stock. Hope this gives you some idea.

The small block has better throttle response, low end snap. It is also lighter by like 8lbs.
