i have my MM700, and it has running board coolers..and the traction SUCKS, tons of snow build up, no traction.. is there any way you can get better traction? i'd like to put the snowelminators or better boards on it,,but i can't because of the RBC, is there any way you could run it under the tunnel like other sleds?

I have the running board coolers on my XLT, and while not quite as effective as the giant holes of SE/BB/Etc's, I think they work great for keeping clear except for the toe hold. That always packs full of snow.

If you need more grip though, I recommend the Fett Bros. Sure Foots. They are a piece of cake to install (just remember to rivet around the cooler). They don't grip quite like the SE/BB/etc's but they'd be a helluva lot better than nothing.

Not sure if replacing the running board coolers with tunnel coolers would be possible or worthwhile...

Check out thread for pictures of an install of Sno Free Sled Boards on a Mtn Viper. http://snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?p=981168#post981168

The Viper part will fit your MM, I measured one last weekend. On this install we did not remove the coolers, and riveted outside. and at each end close to the cooler. We could have made larger cutouts, but felt that with the heat off the coolers that this amount of opening would be adequate. Huge traction improvement.
