I ride a 174 x 2.5 as well as some others I ride with. Then they went to the 3" and it was not good for me
It is not really that hard to beat.

In the deep snow I could out climb the stock xp's with a 174 x 2.5. After they went to the 174 x 3" they could easily out climb me. Not realy even that close any more. I have an 07 xrs with a slp head, y-pipe, vf3's. It runs strong. The xp's at the time were all stock so the track was the only change and what a change it is.
