Best time for Aspen watch this year?

Taking the grand kids for our annual horse back trail ride at the Rusty Spur Ranch just 4 miles south of Kremmling on SH9.

Any gustimates as to the best weekend this year?

This weekend, 9/24, 25. Looks like most will be changed by then.

They are changing fast, still mostly green up on Ute Pass where I work but there are some very vivid yellows and reds. I'd guess the next 2 or 3 weekends. The crisp cold mornings are helping a bunch!

Thanks--made family reservations for Oct 2--was on Lake Granby yesterday and they were about 15%. BTW, Rusty Spur has really good horses and OK to ride off trail.

Don't mean to hijack but I was up that way doing some scouting..you don't work at the Mill (Henderson was it?) do you? What do that make there anyways?
