Best Snow for Dec. 16-20

A few of us from Minnesota are planning a snowmobile trip out West Dec. 16-20. We were thinking Tog. or the Snowies originally but it doesn't seem like the snow is very decent yet in those areas. Any other suggestions with good snow right now in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, or Idaho?

We are leaving the 16th-21st from Northwest Iowa and were originally planning on going to the snowies. We have decided to go to the Big Horns instead due to snow conditions in the snowies and pretty good snow in the Big Horns. Staying at Bear Lodge.

In other news, anyone know how the snow is in the Big Horns By Bear Lodge?

Can you ride straight from the lodge or does it have to be trailered?

You can ride straight from bear lodge... Got some snow last night, but not much forcasted for the next few days. Hope we get some soon, last weekend the riding was pretty good going up again this weekend.

Been going to the snowies for about the last 8 years....only been to the big horns once years ago. Is there a general area that the snow is pretty good if leaving from bear lodge? Or is it all about the same?

Just south of the lodge is pretty good normally or if you want better ride west on the trail for a while to the western side. I guess you don't have to ride the trail to get there its usually just a little quicker.
