best sled for the money, used or new

i saw someone posted that 05/06 900's where selling for 6k still new never ran. shoot buy one of those and put a few bucks into for whatever it is you need. cheap sled and brand new w/warranty.:D

a poo 900 with a few "fixes" will still result in a trip to the denture store after it vibrates your teeth out.... stay away from the poo 900's.... Go with something with 700+ cc's and a track length of 151 or longer, you'll be pretty happy with what ever you buy....JUST NOT THE POO 900....

yup. Poo should just go right back to that chassis. Was the last of the best for them.

spoken like someone who has very little time on a Dragon. The Edge chassis was great in its time but after riding my dragon the edge feels like Im hyperextending my knees and arms and driving from the back seat. Not to mention how slow the chassis responds compared to the Iq

From a standpoint of pretending like you heard none of the bad hype on em, the 900 RMK Poo's are the buyers sled now. You can pick em up for like 3 dollars lol. Kidding on the 3 bucks part, but if you ignore the bad rap part, they are the cheapest to pick up right now for the year/miles/etc

What factors rank where on the priorities?

No other sled can be made as light as an XP without breaking the bank.

'05 m7's are a nice sled for the money, but lack low-end grunt.

RX1's are a steal! Bad part is you have to ride it.

But the best $3000 sled in my book would be an edge chassis 700 RMK

Have you spent time on a 900? Certainly not an 800 Dragon but for $6000 brand new with warranty you can't beat em. I have no problem keeping up with everyone I ride with on my 900 and would have never known I had a vibration problem if so many non-900 owners on the forum wouldn't have pointed it out to me.

i have thought about every single one of those sleds. but my girlfriend has me convinced to wait till next year and buy a brand spanking new 09 sled. sound like a good deal or no?

It's a trick! Don't fall for it!
Next year you could be "saving for the wedding" or "having a baby" or some bull$hit like that.

You tell her how it's gonna be & if she doesn't shut her mouth, there may be an '09 coming in addition to this one!
Then ask her why there is no supper on the table yet?

He ll man, even the edge 800's vibrate so bad they make your fingers go numb in the first 4-5 miles up the trail.....Come on, you can't tell me you didn't notice that too...? or do you just have your Poo for sled bliners on?

Maybe it is just cuz I ride a Harley all summer but no sleeping fingers here! :D
