old school rules

It ain't much good if it doesn't get you back to the trailer, light weight means nothing if you have to haul belts, fuel and parts, let's go way back to the original--98 Summit X with a 151 to make it fair. Now you may start laughing!

That's a pile of money for something that might be as fun to ride as a stock Rev..... :D

If you're talking deep powder, the ZX's were awesome. Not the powerhouses the new 800's are but they would rip all day in fresh snow.

OT - High Voltage did you get the MPEM re-curve done? If not I highly recommend it, I was at the difference it made.

Talked to Kelsey today about the RKT drop/in kit .He doesn't offer a MPEM remap on the 06 Power Tec because he doesn't have one! So I highly dought it, and baffled it could make a difference!

If you are talking stock.

I rented an XP from Island Adventures the other day in Island Park Idaho for two days.

It was the best stock mountain sled I have ever ridden almost bought one from them but my riding buddies have turbo four strokes and I do not think the two styles match up very well.

The thing went great, never got stuck, did lots of inverted turns where it mattered and every time we pulled out of the situation.

Great stock Sled!!

07 Rev 800R hands down and ive owned an 06 rev too. 06 blew chains and belts and was a pig on fuel. The 07 rips balls, gets super great mpg and not one busted chain yet.

Gee, its the sled I own too, imagine that, Im voting for the sled that I liked enough to purchase! Guess Im biased

M8 162, tons more power than the M7, reverse, efi, way better suspension, once the heating issues are addressed is a bullet proof sled, have over 2,400 miles on mine and have had not one break down. rode the same belt last year almost 1,900 miles changed it at the beginning of the season just for maintainence. did i mention i own one:)
