Best skid for pro?

I do a lot of tree riding and some jumping and I'm just wondering which skid you guys think is the best. I need something that can take a beating. I have a three inch track on mine and it likes to stand on end a lot. I was looking at the nextech skid, how does it work? Or Darryl bakers set up from mountains edge

Love the Baker skid from The Racers Edge. Ive been pounding mine on my Turbo Apex and its holding up great. No limiter issues like some of the other brands. Keeps the front down and pounds the whoops without bottoming. I have a Zbros front and a Elka rear. The best part is Baker has awesome customer service !

Do you think it will give too much ski pressure for tree riding though? I still want the front end to feel light

Its very adjustable. I have mine set so it keeos front down on the climbs yet i can still wheely it a little if need be. Im pretty sure NM may have one on one of their Turbo Pros. I just talked to Baker and they were in the process of starting/finishing production on the Pro. You would need to call him. Im more of a interested Pro future customer who rides Yamaha lol. Im sure it will be way better than the junker stock unit lol. So ive heard
Lol

The stock skid works well it's just with the three inch track bites so hard, even in the super deep fluff it stands right up. I tightened the limiter strap and it made a substantial difference. But still comes up a lot

Kmod works great under boost or stock power. I have one word for that skid, control. The Raptor shocks are great also.

Maybe I don't go big enough but the stocker with Exit X1's have been phenomenal for me. I can't believe how much better my sled takes hits now and it's very adjustable.

X2 sled is very capable. For a stock skid, I'm impressed how far tuning can take it

I have the walker evens piggy back shocks and I've wreck 3 of the 4 that are on there. There is a snap ring inside of them that basically explodes. They are garbage IMO. Maybe I should try doing what you did and upgrade to zbroz. I haven't bent any rails only my tunnel

Nextech Skid

I'm running the Nextech skid on my Silber turbo pro and I am very happy with it. Its adjusted to still have some ski lift when boondocking but keeps the skis pertty planted when climbing. I was only running 8 psi last trip, so we will see how it does on highter boost levels next time. If it doesn't keep skis down there will be a Timbersled or Kmod next....

Has anyone done just the Kmod rear with updated shocks? Quite a bit more affordable but I wonder how it compares to the full blown skid. I already have the evol r/ zero pro with resi shocks in my stock skid and like that set up but wonder if it could get much better...

what about EZ-RYDE? i have yet to be on a sled that worked better than my 09 dragon with a drop and roll with an ez-ryde skid.

Can you still set the ez ryde up with some ski lift? I like having a playful feeling sled and I was under the assumption the ez ryde was more for climbing and kept the front end down great. I need something that still lifts the skis when I want it... I'll take a sled that is fun to ride but doesn't climb quite as well any day...

Honestly, i don't know. I set up my skid and it had to much ski pressure. i took it out till i had it to where my skis were aobut 6" off the snow when pinned. It was purfect for the hard riding i do. Jumped great, always launched nice and smoth, minimal snow build up, and defenetly helped the sled stay ontop the snow.

IMO, it is the only rear suspension i would buy. i would consider a next tech but as for as the k-mod and timbersled, i think you could modify your stock suspension to do what they do. But that is just an IMO. I had an old holtz suspension a few years ago and it wasn't anything special. Got hte job done but the only reason i liked it was because of the fox shocks.

The pic you posted looks like the stock suspension with different shocks? Or is it all different? Price?
