whats the best mountain ski? i guess i dont understand the difference, i always thought the c&a were best but i dont see lots of guys running them

X2 Simmons GEN 1 !!!!!!!!!

had them on my last 4 sleds, all different pairs wish it worked out I just kept them but I would buy a set and sell my stockers so then sled goes, skis go.

Yes. I have run C&As razors. The are a pretty nice ski. What will make a difference is the type of sled they are going on. Different sleds respond differently to the same ski. The other thing to remember is that any more aggressive ski that comes from the aftermarket is going to make steering effort increase as well....especially the XT_ skies from C&A.

powder pros are really good skis. like stated c&a are used by most all sponsored riders but not much by others because of the nearly $500 price tag for the mtx. that being said the c&a mtx is a bad *** ski though.

I've thought about simmons but the simmons III are 8 inches wide. Why would you want a narrow ski in powder; or am I worong that the simmons I's are narrow?:face-icon-small-con

has anyone tried the c&a

Yep....currently have the MTX C&A model on my Pro-Rmk and really like them(flotation, steering effort, and sidehilling). I've also had the XTX on my 2008 RMK and the RZR on my 2010 Rush. Hands down I like the MTX the best. Saw quite a few on sleds in my two trips to Cooke.

i got the mtx also...love them...just didnt like the price tag. If i was to do it over again, i think i would go with sly dog. Have a few friends that run sly dog and love them.
