just wanted to start a thread with everybody's opinion on where is the best backcountry riding on earth, deepest pow, steepest hills, etc. whatever you think is the best

i'll get the ball rolling, revy is definetely a contender (i've never rode there though), heres a vid with some deep pow shot in revy:

stewart B.C? rabbit ears? revelstoke? turnagain?:D

Best in Canada? definately Stewart B.C. by a landslide. Best in the states I've heard is Valdez Ak. haven't had the oppurtunity to ride there yet though. Nowhere gets snow like the north coast!

hey

I'v only rode alaska, so its the best I'v seen. Lost Lake, turny, hoodoos, placer. I'v seen some pretty sick pictures from our canadian brothers though
1st bowl, Turnagain Pass Alaska

I have ridden a few different places over a large part of MT riding here and there, and with others, it may not always be the steepest, the deepest, or whatever, but heck, when I can drive 20 miles at most and be into some sick riding... does it matter how sick somewhere else is when your backyard is that fun??

It's great around here....like revelstoke with no out-of-towners in the way...lol

There are so many good places in western Canada and US I could never call one "the best"
