best intake for pro

Was out in deep powder this weekend and was getting powder bog whats the best intake setup lets hear about some options

I run the slp intake and never had a bog yet. I also run slp powder valves too, not sure if they are needed though.

I have the SLP one ... It's huge.. needed a gauge lifter to make the gauge usable.also did the Bikeman port to the air shelf ..

Yup gauge lifter here too. Notice any difference with the bikeman port?

Little noise. But noise means power right MBRP??? .. its a PITA to get the air box out.. need to turn up oiler still so ill be back in there .. admit!!!

I use one simple 3" Powair intake vent and have had zero issues with powder bog. Love it.

One 2.5" frogskinz each side of the stock intakes.

2.5"-2" rubber abs reducer.

Hole saw thru the airbox and thru the hood.

The intake is vertical so no snow buildup.

Works much better than the slp.

One 2" powair on the bottom.

Thanks for the reply's I would like to put one on the side of the hood like sheetmetalfab has just think it would stay more clear of snow I also have my boonie box mounted by my guage so it makes it not easy for the slp and fire n ice vent

What gains are you seeing by adding more vent area over stock ?

Less icing and less bogging due to iced off intakes.

whats you thinking behind using the abs reducer instead of just cutting a hole and covering it with the frogskin ?
velocity ? noise ?

There is an air space between the airbox and hood.

Large hole thru the hood.
Smaller thru the airbox.
