Best group of Guides you could ask for....

Just wanted to let everyone know just how good the Guides at the Togwotee Mountain Lodge are in case you did not already know. We had used the guides in the past years, and have always been impressed on how well they handle the groups and make sure we always have a great time. This week in Togwotee we got into a situation where we needed the guides to come out and help get us back to the lodge. Fortunately we had cell phone service and were able to send the guide service station our location via an iphone screen shot. The guys were able to narrow the area down and headed out to assist us. Keep in mind, these guys were just getting done with their normal tour(s) scheduled for the day and the temps were in single digits. Carter, Matt, Matt, Reilly, and Lefty arrived at our location within a couple of hours of being called by us. I would say that was pretty remarkable considering the terrain that we were in and as far away as we were from the lodge.Once Carter laid out the ground rules, we loaded up and made our way back to the lodge. All of the guides were very helpful and made sure we were prepared to make the trip back to the lodge. It was cold and dark, but we made it back to the lodge very quickly.Rest assured, if you go to the Togwotee Mountain Lodge, there is an excellent group of guides out there that have your back no matter the situation. Thanks goes out to the Togwotee Mountain Lodge Guide Service Station and Guides!</p>

Awesome to have that kind of help when you need it. What was your issue, out gas, broken machine? All of us who ride the backcountry have this fear in the back of our minds every time we go into the bush.

Snow Cowboys saved your bacon !!Those guys are serious about safety and providing the best ride, they take dedicated professional to the extreme .
If your undecided on whether to get a guide or not maybe this will help you make that decision....:bump:

We were back country riding. We had tried to get a guide a couple of weeks, maybe a month in advanced, but they were booked solid. No break downs or anything like that, we just kept bouncing from hole to hole thinking we would eventually run into a trail that would lead us back ot the lodge eventually.

The guides at Togwotee are great.......I met Noah when i was there. This was by far the best snowmobiling experience i ever had. Great lodge and staff. Dont be fooled though.........just cause you can ride 200 miles on the trail back home doesnt mean **** out there. Be fit, be prepared with food and water, buy the avalanche items...... Have a guide the first few times you go, totally worth it......Noah took us to untracked snow every day. He dug our asses out nonstop......and he never complained even though he was working so hard to school some newbs like us. Noah is top notch, and so was the lodge staff....

Just read the report on the Avy death near Tog Lodge. Sounded to me like the victim and friend were out on their own. Report stated that Tog guides responded on scene and rendered medical aid.

Kudos to the guides! Speaks to their/your dedication and professionalism. I often wondered if, while riding Tog, I experienced some sort of emergency would the guides respond.

I now have my answer. Hope some day to be able to help one of them out.

Tog guides, Thank you! you rock!

The SnoWest ride last weekend Lefty took a group out on his own time !!!!!
Mega props to the guides at the Lodge. Get one if you can!
