Best goggles for Fly F2 helemt

Looking for goggles that fit the fly f2 with a nose piece. Like the way it fits but my scott goggles all have a nose guard that doesn't fit helmet. I don't use breath box cause I like the goggles tight to my face. Seems like it might be a cold helmet without this breath box. Lots of vents in front. Anyone have a good combo with this helmet.

I have multiple sets of goggles including 509, smith and Oakley. I just bought a pair of Klim Radius goggles and they fit my Fly F2 100% better than the others.

What do you mean, the nose piece? You mean just the regular rubber flashing on the nose of the helmet, because you say not the breath box correct?? You would have a couple of options in our opinion. You can either remove the nose pieces on 99% of the goggles so that they fit better, and wear a balaclava, or you can insert the goggles nose piece first when putting them on so that they get behind the rubber nose on the helmet. Either of those will work for you. It is just a little bit different than just being able to put them straight in like on a moto style.

Mean the Face/nose shield on goggles. They stick out to far on the scott proair and xi. I do wear a balaclava. Like to wear it under nose or mouth tho. Just looking for goggles that will fit in helmet with nose piece on goggles.

I have the Fly F2 with the breath deflector installed. I took a pair of scissors and trimmed the neoprene nose guard down so the metal nose bridge piece is gone. I wear 509 Sinister X2, Scott Hustle and Scott Tyrant goggles with mine all with the nose piece on the goggle. When I put them on I angle the bottom of the goggle in towards my face first, then the slide the top in and they all work great. I wear a Klim Arctic balaclava.

Can you take a picture of this? We have sold thousands of helmets and never heard of the nose piece hitting the front of the helmet when on the face. Now if you don't angle the bottom in first to put them on a lot of times we see them sitting on the front of the chin bar of the helmet. Would love to see a photo to help us see what is happening here. The user above is putting his goggles in correctly so that the nose piece does not hit the goggles.

I think the OP means the removable breath deflector, not the attached rubber piece. I have the F2 and have run Smith, Scott, 509 and Haber in it, and all conflict with the breath deflector. That said, the breath box length in the helmet is very short. Really no need to run the deflector. I have found the goggles nose piece is plenty. I always use a bala too.

I have yet to use a breath deflector that comes with any helmet I own. Including the F2 Carbon I have.

I wear a balaclava 100% of the time and have it under my mouth on most days. But for the cold days(like now) I run a heavier duty balaclava with a neoprene beak for my nose and an opening for my mouth.

The nose piece on my goggles works fine, but on cold days there is not a nose piece out there that will keep your nose from glowing red.

I wear X-Brand, 509, Smiths, Spy, and Dragons and I find the Spy, 509, and Smith work best for overall fitment. The others, I keep for spring riding when I am looking for more airflow and a perfect seal is not needed. Or for summer sports!

Also, remember it has to do with your head too. The same goggles will fit differently in the same helmet depending on whose face they are sitting on.

Don't have time right now but scott proair will not fit. That nose piece is out way to far and hits helmet. Same with older pair off scott Xi s. I have. I think scott hustler. Klim or 509 will fit with nose piece on goggles tho.

Picked up my f2 before our trip last week. Wanted an "outrigger" type goggle to go with it. Tried on Klim radius pro and 509 sinister, and it "felt" like the Klim fit better. Was happy with the recent reviews I read in here and the "best fog free goggle on the market" claim from Klim. They breathed well when moving, but if I stopped for 5 seconds, literally, you could watch the fog grow from the bottom of the goggle. If I didn't take them off immediately fog turned to condensate in less than 45sec, sometimes less and then that & they would ice up. Dealer gave me a quick strap to try as he had numerous others with same problem. It helped get them off quicker but they were still incredibly touchy. I think the klims rely too much on the giant vents on top of the goggles to get the hot air out, and then those vents sit so close to the top opening of the Helmet they just can't keep up. I switched back to my old spy goggles and I tried and tried to off them up and couldn't. Very disappointed.

I was told the frameless dragon goggles are designed for the fly f2 helmet...might try those. Anyone tried em?

In my f2 I have to put my goggles in bottom first. I have the best luck with my oakley crowbars next best are my dragon vendettas. I also just got a new pair of spy goggles with the nose piece and they fit fine as long as you put the bottom in first.

All I use in my F2 is sinisters. I have had some problem in snowy, overcast, windy conditions when we're out in the open. But in the trees and sunny days I haven't found anything better. And the polarized is an added bonus for me.

I go the F2 for Christmas and have been using my 509 Sinisters without the helmet breath box. The nose piece on the goggles just barely tucks inside the helmet. It's so close in fact, that I can run it either inside or outside of it.

I don't wear a balaclava, just a Klim neck tube. If my face is cold, I pull up the neck tube. If I'm hot and need air, I pull it down and expose my mouth/chin. I was out in -15 the other night and didn't need it.

At -45 windchill, there are a few cold spots around the sides of the goggles, but that's almost to be expected. I wear an XXL helmet.

Seems to work great so far.

I have Scott Voltage ProAir, Hustle, and Recoil Xi... All fit great (XXL Fly F2)... With one catch... Instead of fighting with the nose piece, or resorting to removing it, I took the scissors to all 3 (easy being the nose piece is soft rubber) and slowly trimmed small amounts until they fit. MUCH better... IMO - NOTHING beats the Scott's due to their superior foam... YMMV

Hey LCW, could you post a pic of the trimming you did on the Scott Hustles?
