best gloves

My TNA gloves have lasted longer than any other glove i've had but they are cold. $230 for the klim elite's seems a little over the top.

X200 on the TAG...gloves so great that this year 509 got the exact same gloves, put their logo on them and added $40 to the price.

I love the inversions. Carry 2-3 pair. Have to toss one pair per season, but they are thin and warm for our riding in the NW.

Any glove that I have tried for mountain riding gets wet, then your hands get cold. Best solution so far has been an unlined leather glove, used with removable liners. Stuff 3 or 4 sets of liners in the pack and change them out as the day goes on. I always save a dry set for the trail ride out. JMO

I can honestly say the only way the inside of my TAG gloves get wet is if snow falls into the inside of them (which it doesn't unless I take them off and lay them wrong) or if I put my hands in wet with snow.

Mitts will keep the hands warmest since the fingers combined heat each other and insulate better together.

I have mittens for sale in the swap meet. listed $150 delivered for $24

Most good gloves have removable shells so to change out the liners.

They make several liner weights/materials so the custom the thickness of the glove to your hand and temp conditions.

Plus you can wash the liners without the shell.

TAG all the way first pair lasted 6 yrs than I went to klims do not remember the name but they are the last resort gloves in the bottom of my pac or they are loners . Tried MF great start of the ride but wet thru fast ,went back to TAG storms this time .
Tried a new pair on at the Spokane show xxx and can hardly get my hand in them and they do not make a xxxx so now I am looking for a replacement . I sure wish mfg still made stuff here .

I will never waste my dollars on KLIM gloves again.
If they don't fall apart within the firs season you're lucky.
I have a pair of the very overpriced TOG gloves and if you try to do anything more than just sit on the seat And give the trigger a squeeze now and then you will HATE these.
Yes, they are warm BUT trying to hang on while playing hard will cause you to get that feeling like you're wearing overly thick socks inside of loose shoes and your hands will slip and slide around inside.
Holding on in technical riding is almost impossible.

I bought some Motorfist gloves this year, their "Best" glove.
It seems well put together and don't feel sloppy while gripping.
We'll see.

The only Klim gloves I have tried were the Powercross. I had the same feeling. The leather palm wadded up and it felt like my grips were loose because of the layers.

I am a Klim fanboy. I have a Keeweenaw jacket and bibs, Storm jacket, Extreme bibs, Klim tekvest, balaclavas, socks, jerseys, boots... just have no faith in their gloves.

For extreme cold and trail I have an old pair of Choko leathers Doo X Team leathers. For aggressive and warm days I have two pairs of Castle Mission gloves. Looking at some of the lightweight Fly gloves for a thinner pair.

TNA powder storms never let me down. Got a pile of failed klim gloves they won't warranty.

If you guys aren't using SNO SEAL or something similar, you are putting up with colder, wetter gloves than necessary, even if water isn't soaking all the way through. I use this on all of my gloves.

I just picked up a new pair of TAG Storm gloves and the new models don't look as beefy as the previous years. They look thin almost like the Klim motorcross gloves. I went ahead and bought them but I was disapointed not to see the old black glove with the gauntlets.

Anyone put some miles on the new design?

Edit: Found some old ones on the TAG site and ordered a pair... $55!
