i am persinaly boycotting all hte lumis owned stores. They are in it for the money and i hav delt directly with the owner and he told me to go pound sand when i inquired about faulty worksmanship that his techs did on my sled in Belgrade. It cost me 2 months of riding and about $1300. i am considering taking them to small claims court.

IMO, Cooke city Exxon and Polaris is the best. Might not be the cheepest, but the best. I bought my sled at rexburg and wasn't totaly happy with it. The sales person didn't know a sled from a butterknife. I purchased an orange assault over the phone, got the loan, showed up and surprise! it's silver! Other than that, they are your best chance at a good deal simply because of the volume of sleds they sell. I have also had good luck with the shop in Butte. They gave me a discount on a new helmet the first time i walked in the store.

clarke why did you go to belgrade and not cookie to have your sled fixed when you live in gardiner?

cause i was working in bozeman and Butte. I decided to try them out since they where new. First impressions were good. Hey it's a free country, you guys could buy a pissed on icecone for all i care. Just thought id give you a heads up that somone in that shop/company isn't honest. Ohh and if anyone wnats proof, i got documentation they did the work wrong, expert's opinion, and lots of pictures so please, no one try and test my credibility.

Rick at Cooke City is usually around $500 cheaper on his snow checks and he is usually the first dealer in the state to receive them...I have bought many toys from him...

do not go to any of the KURTS same thing after the money, I drive 100mi out of my way to take my toys to ronan, there not the biggest nor the best but super nice and go the extra mile for you and your toys, took my sled there once cleaned my clutchs, cleaned up some of my wireing ect ect at no extra cost just to keep me comeing back and as a happy customer IMO they did a great job at that. That in my book is an awsome dealer

Well ur in lewistown.......why not try sports city in great falls......talk to Larry he will help ya.......make sure to tell them ur looking elsewhere though.....the best deal comes that way

good dealer

kurts took good care of us. will get a new 13 you can ride a 13 at turbo days apr 14 at lolo pass.

Have had dealings with both Polaris West Yellowstone and Gallatin Rec. in Belgrade. Very happy with service and dealings. Best deal doesn't = best service. My $0.02.

I had good luck in Cooke city and west yellowstone , if there was one dealer in montana and it was the one in billings, I would rather deal with selling ice to eskimos than talk with those guys

Bought my last 2 from Polaris West, it's been good. Service is good and they recognize me when I walk in the door. Will be ordering my 2013 from there. Service over dollars anyday.

I went throught this last year!

I checked a new Pro last year and went through this whole process. You really need to ask your self 2 questions. 1- Who has the best price? 2- Who has great service? Here is what I found.

Question #1

1- Butte by $700 to the next cheapest dealer
2- Cooke City $200 cheaper than everyone else
3- Everyone else
**** St. Anthony, ID was the Cheapest at $200 less than Butte

Question #2 (tricky as my experience only involves two dealers)

1- Cooke City (side note is they can get backed up but do a great job)
2- Billings (Justin is excellent, really knows his stuff but the dealer sucks!)

My thoughts are to support local first, but if they are going to screw you why give them your loyalty!

Bought my 12 at Kurts in Missoula from mike best guy to deal with sled was all set right from the git go regeared clutched and everything no questions asked he just did it for me,Mike is alsways texteing me to see how it is running a real great guy would not buy a sled from anyone else but mike.

Polaris West

Polaris West has always done right by me. They let me ride their demo sled last year while mine was having some warranty work done. They have always gone above and beyond my expectations.

I snowchecked with a decent deal from Redline in Butte ($11.2k on 163 pro rmk). Nice people but still waiting for my owners manual they forgot to give me (said they mailed it but I never got it).

Got a new a-arm and did the recall from the people at Gallatin Rec., they're nice and did the recall with quick turn around.

About all I got!
