Best aftermarket throttle block for the 2013 pro??

Who makes a good two peice throttle block for the 2013 pro??? will a different block mess with the TPS??? And can you just unplug the safety switch from the harness??? Thanks
 
Curious as to why you want to change the stock one out, and no you can't just unplug the safety switch.
 
You can unplug the TSS (throttle safety switch) and relocate it. You will have to tape it up so the plunger is pushed all the way in. Much easier to do on a '13 as the TSS is separate from the kill switch.

I really dont think that is the case with the DC-CFI-2 systems... But hey, I'm open to learn.

How does that function when the ECU "sees" the throttle as open but the TPS at idle position?

Polaris made the system nearly impossible to bypass IMO.

The CFI-4 systems taping it up was possible on though (Dragons and 900's)

A software stop is used to determine the position of the
throttle flipper switch. The software stop system is
activated when the throttle flipper switch is closed (closed
throttle), but the TPS (throttle plate position) is still above
idle. When this occurs, the ECU software will determine
the throttle cable is ““stuck”” and kill the ignition system.

RSI is the only aftermarket throttle block that will carry the TSS switch.

will a different block mess with the TPS???
Not with the TPS...But the TSS (Throttle Saftey Switch) needs to be mounted to the block/lever.

And can you just unplug the safety switch from the harness???

I am currently running the TSS bypassed by it being taped and also zip tied it in the compressed position. I then spooled up the wire an threw the switch in the little baggy where the connectors are under the hood. No issues. I also bought the skidoo summit x kill switch bracket and mounted my kill switch down in the lower part of the pro tapers. I am also running the Polaris IQR two piece throttle block. This will allow u to use the Polaris throttle lever. Super clean, this is on a 2012 pro. Hope this helps
 
Fastrax can't keep them in stock (two piece billet that doesn't have provision for TSS). Someone, somewhere has figured something out.
 
I have a two piece FTX block that i'm no longer using if someone needs one for something. Has three pivot point holes on it. Let me know.

Good to hear that you have positive results.

Curious to see why that works...as that completely goes against the way the system was designed.

Switch closed + throttle (TPS) above idle = stop engine through ECU

?????

I'm SINCERELY interested figuring out why yours is allow the bypass?... You make great, informed posts, so I hope this is not coming off as me doubting your results.

Same on the 2013.

Loosen the cable.... switch open, TPS at idle... sled dies.

Is this on your turbo sled with some other ECU or control box?

Are the 2012's the same as the '11's? If so I did the same thing as diehardpoo and no problems for 1000 miles since new. I think I just took the plunger all the way out, but now I can't remember for sure and the sled is gone. I experimented with mine until I had a combination that worked, since at the time, nobody knew what I was talking about. I seem to remember two resisters circuits inside, one for each position of the plunger corresponding to the throttle input. Sorry, I know this probably doesn't help unless they are all the same, then I could tell you without a doubt that it is possible, same as diehardpoo. Good luck!

Edit: My 2011 was all stock except for an aftermarket (RSI I think) two-piece throttle block :-)
 
We have done the taping the TSS closed on an '11 and two '12s and have had zero problems.
 
Forgive my ignorance on the 2011 and newer wiring and such, but did that portion change from the CFI-4 generation? Reason being is I no longer have the OEM kill switch or throttle block on my 09. The instructions I got with the throttle block from RSI had me cut the grey wire to remove the TSS feature from my sled. If Poo changed it in 2011, then this obviously won't work.

My sled runs perfectly fine with the TSS completely removed and the wire cut.
 
MH, i appreciate the props!This is on my Turbo, but all I am running is a boost it fuel box which doesn't tap into the ECU. I am not sure why it doesn't work for ur neighbors, but all I did was remove the switch from the stock throttle block, and duct tape it compressed, then I wanted to double ensure it worked right and zip tied the button down. No idling issues, no cutting out, etc. maybe u don't have it pushed all the way down or something?
 
As my understanding how the TSS is suppose to work is: if the throttle is stuck, the button would NOT be pushed (closing the circuit) and the TPS indicates a percentage open. Then cut out the motor. For normal operation, the TSS button would HAVE to be pushed, then TPS indicates percentage throttle open, life is good. If the switch is always pushed via the tape/zip tie, then that permissive is satisfied all the time.
 
I HIGHLY doubt that you will be able to buy the correct resistor that plugs into the wire harness directly from Polaris. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The TSS is there for a reason.

This is interesting I had a TSS problem last Friday on a 2012, I will try to see if I can tape it closed like talked about above and see if the sled will still operate.
