interesting...would have never thought of puting it inside mounted to the wall...how do you fill it?

well we have a station near home that i can pull up and fill it other wise i just roll the drum over on a cart and hand pump it in there

I like people who won't settle for second best. My thought is you may want to put in a fuel/water separator bowl or water drain as there is always a good chance of condensation in the tank.

Like the sight tube, but...

I think that hose is not recommended for Fuel.

That looks like beverage hose, and may break down, because it isnt rated for fuel.

Clear sight GLASS is what we use on diesel fuel tanks for yachts, but we can't do that with Gasoline.

Please check on that hose, to make sure that it wont let go on you...the fuel may make it go cloudy over time.

I'd also see about putting in valves on the top and bottom of the sight tube, so that you can isolate it, if a leak develops.

sight tube is nice but its right by the door looks like a good grab handle shut off valves might be a real good idea.we had one fabed up to fit under the trailer with a 12 volt pump with filter works great you can either power the pump with a extra batt or just tie into your parking lights
