Just put my straight pipe on the 13 and wow love the faster spooling. The weight loss too was nice but was really impressed by the seat of the pants feel.

I did the same thing- but going to EVO's can system. The straight pipe is way-way loud-and put's out a ton of heat. If you don't wrap it it will start playing havoc on you side panel.. I have Cat's full vented side panel and it warped it..

IMO a muffler sounds a lot better than a straight pipe. The straight pipe is so harsh. If you want a DIY exhaust source a vibrant or some other resonator.

it is ceramic coated and panel is cool to touch even after long pulls. super noisey not really I've had cans on my 2 smokers way louder then this

Stock muffler or trail can equals back pressure and with a turbo that equals lots of heat. My 2012 has the DD mountain can they first came out with and the sidepanel has taken a **** kickin. Hot as hell

I ran a straight pipe on a 1100 turbo for almost 600 miles. No exhaust wrap or anything, and I never had a problem with heat coming off of it. No side panel warpage or under hood melting problems. I was always wiping the snow outta my vents to make sure everything stayed vented properly which I think a lot of guys just don't do.

WOW!!

I put the Turbo Dynamics 3" exhaust, EVO intake elbow, EVO charge tubes and I've got a cold air intake built. I'm changing the intake setup. This was just to test. I had a bunch of time into it and wanted to ride so I left the BRV for another day. WAY more power. I'm hitting the rev limiter now at 2000ft! I've never felt a power increase like this buy just doing intake and exhaust. I can't wait to get programming and clutching in this thing!

My straight pipe melted the crap out of the skid plate/ belly pan and just my luck the right side is more than twice the price of the left side.

Just a word of caution- ya best be getting a ROV for your breather vent line- otherwise you oil is going right into your turbo and that=distruction.
Wait till ya put the BRV in- your spooling time is going to be greatly reduced and find a better on-off throttle response.:bounce:

It shouldn't pull oil through the breather when I'm running it? I'll keep an eye on that. Yes, I plan to do the ROV.
