Belt in secondary height

Changing an A arm today and noticed my belt sits low in the secondary pretty much flush with the sheave.
Any other sled ive owned they are usually 3/16 above......am i crazy here?

I tighten mine until it squeels then back it off a 1/4 turn. Keeping the adjusted makes a difference. Eric

People get too caught up in where the belt sits in the secondary. Do like Eric stated above and adjust it to where it squeals and back it off a bit. Yes normally the belt is riding above the secondary sheave a bit but it all depends on the length of the belt. As the belt stretches and wears out you need to adjust it. Every time you adjust it it will set higher and higher in the secondary. Other than that don't base anything on how far it sets out of the secondary, as long as the deflection is good that is where it will set.
