What are your guy's thoughts on the best belt for a rev 800 summit? Now that the 383's been around a little longer, how has that been holding up?
belt for 04 REV, 166, 377, or 383

383 hard to beat
Friend of mine ran a 383 all season on a very modified 05 800 and had zero problems. I run a 377 on my 04 800. I have heard that you can get after market belts and if it fails free replacement not sure if it is true? I think i will be switching to 383.

I ran a 166 last season on my 04, only got about 500 miles on it before it was shot...ran the 377 and got the rest of the season out of it , 800 miles or so. Havent ran the 383 but will try it this year. Not a big fan of aftermarket belts. They just dont seem to perform under heat and stress as well...imo. Dino

Trust what brew says but can you guys tell me what the differences are in the 4 belts that we have been discussing. I have an 06 with Team secondary if it makes a difference.
