Belt Faliure

HOT, hot, hot, vent, vent, vent, vent. They just won't hold up, run lots of vents and the 32 will last, keep it as cool as you can under there, let that hot air out. The 80 will get you home but that is it, Not a option on the new sleds. As stated above lots of deep heavey snow I will only get about 700 to 900 out of the 32, and it is time for new one.

Got 400 out of my factory new belt. High temps I believe were the culprit. Lots of heavy loads at low speed. I am going to vent the crap out of it.
That is the wrong way to go about it. Vents certainly help but it is a band-aid solution. Adjust your clutching to bring the temps down. You will have a better/more efficent running sled and pulls stronger.

You should be able to touch the clutches after a long pull. Both clutches should be roughly the same temp.
