Bellevue Lasik, anybody used them?

Want to get Lasik but alittle worried about the traveling eye van. Are they any good or is there a better one in the state? I need split vision if I get it. Adjusted to the contacts that way but any downside comment? Thanks.

Steve

I went throught 3 eye exams to decide which place to do mine. I went with Clearly Lasik in Renton. It was done last December and I did the 'mono-vision' with only correcting 1 eye.

I am use to it and for general all around, there is little to no effect. For hunting this fall, i was not seeing the detail I wanted and occasinaly @ night it is frustrating, but for sledding, it is awesome.

Doing both eyes would have required reading glasses and that was not acceptable.

If you know about split "mono-vision' with contacts, you know what you are getting into.

Best sledding mod I have done.

Didn't use Bellevue Lasik..but a few thoughts

I got Lasik done about 9 years ago....in Canada. I have 20/15 vision & I love it. My eyes are dry occasionally in the morning.
They told me I would need reading glasses in my forties. Not looking forward to that, but have not had any issues yet.
What to expect....
If they offer you valium, see if you can get 2. One pill did nothing for me. I was nervous as hell. The put a ring around your eye to keep your eye open while they laser. One side was fine & the other hurt like a motherf*cker. That happens to alot of people. It only takes 10 or 15 min. Your eyes feel grainy afterword, like you have sand in em. You wear dark glasses...avoid reading and TV for a couple of days.

Then it is freakin AWESOME!!!:cool:
