beer tree ride

Went up for a late quick ride today. 14 miles, 8 stucks and 3.5 hours of butt kicking hard riding and we were spent. Show up, get the good hard riding out of the way and go home is what we figure.

here are some pics, I have some video but Final Cut crashed on me tonight so I will try to get it up sometime.
We were within 3 miles (as the crow flies) from the parking lot the whole time...I love that.

beer tree ride is the title becuase: we both went out and drank a bit too much Saturday night, last minute decision to go ride, and the whole "beer can tree can be run over...alot of that happened.

No Action pics, all in the trees so got the stucks and the scenery. The helmet cam will show the rest.

Needed a leatherman to remove the tree residue from my a arm.

The snow was great for this time of year. It did feel like Late march and mashed potatoes...but I'll take what i can get. The base is good if it keep snowing. All the stucks were either detained (big trees in the way) or stop for a split second and the snow the front was pushing set up and the sled couldn't push through it. All in all it was a good time. Met a few friends leaving at 11AM because it was socked in and the snow "sucked". By 1PM it was blue bird and we will take anything we get to go out and "hold church in god's country".
