got a cabin rented at bear river lodge in christmas meadows next weekend. hows the snow in that area? any suggestions on where to ride. ive never been there. thanks

No matter were you go up there be VERY careful. Just enough snow to cover the big landmines. Went up Sunday and you just have to pay attention!

Stay on the west side of the Mirror Lake Highway and look for the better snow. The east side of the hwy is okay but not where the good snow is.
Make sure you pay attention to the avy conditions before you ride also. The hills are still sliding in the steeper sloped areas.
