Hello Everybody. I wanted to give everyone an update to the recent changes up at the Bear River Lodge.

Last May we tore down the old Quonset hut that housed our little store and restaurant. We then moved our store into a much nicer building just to the north of the old building. We still offer gasoline, groceries, oil, snowmobile and ATV rentals and all the services we used to offer. The only item we lack is the restaurant. However, until we build our new restaurant we do have some hot items such as soup, chili, and hot dogs available for sale in the store.

As a thanks to you for your many years of support to our little operation, I would like to extend to you a 10% discount on store items and gasoline. Just mention that you are a preferred snowest customer when you go to pay for your items. Additionally we have some excellent discount pricing (much better than 10% off) on our rentals this winter if you have any friends or family who need to get out, but lack a sled.

We are scheduled to start construction on our new store and restaurant this coming summer. The new facilities will be larger and much more accommodating to the public and our cabin guests.

We tore down the old building to make way for some new construction and development. We are currently in the process of building 4 new 3600 sq foot cabins that can sleep up to 22 people each. One is completed and the second should be finished in March or April. We are offering shared ownership, quarter ownership and nightly rentals in these cabins. For more information on the lodging and construction progress please visit our website and blog at www.bearriverlodge.com

We hope to see you all this winter. I was out yesterday riding with some excellent riders from this forum (Sledhead UT, GirlPowder, 1mexonm7, and colorado4fun) and the snow is excellent!

Please feel free to PM me with any questions. Thanks Y'all!

Thank you for the update and the 10% discount. 34 miles from Soapstone gate and my best time was 35 minutes to your door. As a rider who was there 3 days a week way back when it will be nice to return. We PC boys used to never miss the buffet on the weekend, and we have missed a place to eat and stop. Always loved at big fire and a sled DVD on. Good luck. Keep an eye on the candy bars with that crew in there. ;)

Hey Adam, you forgot to mention the new swimming pool, which I still don't understand why they put it in. Short season usage and a lot of dust.

Those new cabin are very impressive. They spared no expense on those lavish huts. Very Nice.:face-icon-small-hap

Thanks for hookin up with us. Snow was killer. You've got some MADD XP skills yourself.;) Let's do it again soon.

Let's see that pick of the dumb azzes climbing Double Hill.

The place is awesome, my family is tied to the lodge and it is amazing, the plans and the expansion they have done. The cabins are unbelievable to stay in.:D:D 5 stars from me for the lodge.

In addition to the swimming pool we added two 12 person in ground hot tubs...they are very popular with the guests.

As far as the double hill pic, I'll have to post it later this week. I left the cord to download at the Lodge.

You are right, we will have to do it again soon. It is a real pleasure riding with good strong riders.:D

If you're in the area, we'd love an extra hand. Some of those late nights going after a stuck or lost sled can be pretty interesting. We had to pull one out of a 15' sinkhole once! It took 8 of us about 4 hours to get it out. It was a long night!

Now go get your throttle fixed. I don't want any more excuses why your going easy on me.;)

Mtnpull, It was nice meeting you, glad you joined us Saturday. Your a pretty awesome rider yourself. Thanks for the heads up on the lodge.

Wow, that's a great deal. I guess you do what you have to in order to fill those cabins up. Nice job Adam. Honestly, they were fairly priced before the discount if people elected to share. Cheaper and more convenient than anything in Evanston when all said and done.:D

Now I can talk Marc and Stacie into coming up.:D

is it best to access evanstain to get here?..plowed up to the lodge?..im guessing it is

and yes, i spelled Evanstain correctly:cool:
