Bear Lake

I am heading up to Bear Lake today and just wonder what the conditions are like up Green, Bloomington, and/or Paris canyons.

I know the snow looks spars in the valley, (http://www.bearlakeweather.com/upload/Curren~1.htm) but I am hoping I don’t have to trailer to high up the trails.

Should be good... Rode franklin last saturday, still plenty of snow in the parking lot.

Rode Franklin yesterday and ummmmmmmmmm.... yeah it's good, to say the least, best powder of the year by far and it came down real good while we were heading out. We dang near came down into town for more gas to go back for more, although it was rain down lower at the parking lot when we were loading up but light and deep up top. .02

Hey Baloo- I am sitting in Paris as I type this and conditions look to be great up there. You can still park at the lot in either Bloomington or Paris canyons and ride the road in, groomed. They got about 12" of fresh in the last day at elevation but it is overcast and socked in on the mountains currently. Hopefully that clears out for ya. Wish I had my sled and I would tag along......

This is great info, thank you. Should be arriving in St Charles around 9:00 p.m. and heading out first thing in the morning.

By chance can you park in the Green Canyon parking lot in St Charles.

Sled is sitting on my 2 place trailer in my back yard in Ogden......

You are not going to want to park in St. Charles. Even though St. Charles is a special place to me. You will be far happier and better served driving an extra 10 min. and parking at bloomington. These are my favorite places, if you have any questions or want any pointers, feel free to give me a call.

Sorry to hear that. I am going through Wyoming or I would pick up for you. The reason why I ask about St Charles is a have a place there and its just easy to wake up in the morning and ride right from the house.
