Well we've been blessed with some spring snow. I live in Cle Elum and the town is full of trucks with snowmobiles tonight.... And the NWAC says that avy danger is "considerable" to "high" tomorrow. I shudder to think about it and pray that everybody is going to make good decisions this weekend. Be CAREFUL my friends.

avy

I got to see something i haven't seen in awhile, on the south side of helens we call it avalanche alley. It's the dip in the middle it let loose from the top came all the way down the worm flow. wow 40 ft deep 100 ft wide all of 3/4 mile long very threatening, really makes you think.

I saw that up there in 2006 i think. I agree with you very intimidating. Some friends want to go up on Saturday. How is the parking lot and the ride in? How is the snow? Is it worth going?

Thanks
Andrew
