ya honestly i think you'd have your way with ball state too.
BCS has a 4 year deal with espn to broadcast so i'm guessing it will atleast be along that long. oh well, just hope oklahoma loses and florida and virginia tech win. for this year!
This is a debate that could go on for centuries. A championship play off would be great and end all to end all. But 'May' never happen, based on finance. Bowl games are financed not only on the TV dollars but the butts in the seats, thats whom pays the town for the game( Attraction from the fans of the Schools). A playoff situation would mean more travel cities to more people at last minute, less than a week plus. Not going to happen. Some will drive others fly, but not too multiple games.
Not to say I am an outsider looking in on situation, I went to FL State, so I will have a stake in this in the next few years, once we rebuild. Currently I fly down for one/two games a year at home, and then atted the bowl game. But I would not fly to a playoff game, knowing that there may be a game after the next week somewhere else, that I have to get a ticket, plane and room for.
This is just reality, and until they find a real championship measure, this is what we have.
And if you think I am a bowl game novice talking chit, I have been to 3 fsu sugar bowls, 1 fiesta bowl and 2 orange. SO I do travel with the team post season, once a year, but would not, multiple times a post season.
